–Personnel told to shelter in place | 02 Aug 2018 | An Air Force base in Ohio said there was not an active shooter incident Thursday, just hours after authorities in armored vehicles and unmarked cars swarmed the base amid reports of a shooter its medical center. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base said in a statement that someone called 911 during a training exercise that included an active shooter scenario at a separate location. The caller thought there was an incident occurring within the base hospital, sending security forces to the scene where they began searching the entire hospital, the statement said. ‘A mother in Dayton, Ohio was shocked this week when she purchased a toy wand for her child at a dollar store only to find it ran not on unicorn hair but a picture of a child slicing her arm open.

In fairness to the dollar store (literally called ‘$.100 store’) the product was named ‘EVIL STICK’, though the pink lettering, fairies, swirls and snowflakes on the packaging ensured it would catch the eye of toddlers.

The fact that the wand emits a cackling laugh when activated is probably permissible, the horrific hidden image less so.’

John Crawford III was shot and killed while holding an airsoft rifle while on the phone in a Dayton, Ohio Walmart.

These facts we know to be true:

  • John Crawford III was shot and killed Tuesday night by Beavercreek, Ohio police officers in a Walmart.
  • Crawford was holding either an airsoft (6mm plastic projectile) or BB/pellet (4.5mm/.177-caliber metal projectile) rifle sold by Walmart that he picked up in the store.
  • Crawford was on the phone when he was shot.
  • Crawford did not have a criminal record.

From there, the tale of what happened next diverges significantly depending upon the perspective of who is telling the story.

LeeCee Johnson, who claims that she is the mother of Crawford’s children, says that Mr. Crawford was on the phone with her when he was shot.  What she heard suggests that he was gunned down with little warning.

LeeCee Johnson, who said she is the mother of Crawford’s children, said she was on a cell phone call with Crawford when he was shot by officers. She said Crawford went to the area to visit family members.

“We was just talking. He said he was at the video games playing videos and he went over there by the toy section where the toy guns were. And the next thing I know, he said ‘It’s not real,’ and the police start shooting and they said ‘Get on the ground,’ but he was already on the ground because they had shot him,” she said, adding: “And I could hear him just crying and screaming. I feel like they shot him down like he was not even human.”

According to Ms. Johnson’s point-of-view as the person on the other end of the phone, it sounded to her as if Crawford was unaware that others may have considered him a threat. She claims that she heard him address someone and say “it’s not real,” at which point he was shot and then someone (presumably police officers) yell at him to “get on the ground,” after he’d already been shot.

DAYTON — Gas prices jump more than 30 cents on Thursday. According to Gasbuddy.com, gas prices are averaging $3.352 in the Dayton area.On Wednesday, the average price for regular gasoline was $3.20.We were there today at the Speedway on Burkhart and Woodman as prices went from $3.18 to $3.45 in a matter of seconds. Others in the area quickly followed suit. There’s very little explanation on why were seeing the cost go up, but AAA thinks it’s because prices were low last month and because more crude is being exported so it’s being sold for a higher price on the global market..This is the first dramatic jump we’ve seen so far this year. The good news, experts predicting that we shouldn’t come close to last year’s record high at the pumps. However, currently we are only 15 cents away from that high.

As Ford opened her front door, she says, Hooper and co-defendant Officer John Howard, “fired their Tasers, striking Jesse in the back with both probes.”
“Once inside the house, defendant Hooper and defendant Howard began to struggle with Jesse, who was standing against the back door with his hands up in front of his face, saying ‘Please quit, please quit.’
“On numerous occasions, Ford and a family friend, Christopher Peyton, informed Officer Hooper that Jesse was mentally challenged/handicapped, and that Jesse did not understand what was happening,” the complaint states.
But the mom says the cops continued their assault: “Officer Howard utilized his Cap-Stun pepper spray and sprayed Jesse … [and] struck Jesse with a closed fist in the upper chest area.
“Officer Howard utilized his ASP and repeatedly struck Jesse in the upper left side of his left thigh.
“Back-up units were requested to Jesse’s house, wherein upward of 20 police officers from different jurisdictions were present.
“At no point, even after being advised of Jesse’s mental challenge/handicap by Jesse’s family and numerous bystanders, did defendant Hooper, defendant Howard, or any other police officer present, attempt to communicate with Jesse or explain in terms he could understand as to why Jesse was being chased.
“Jesse was handcuffed and hogtied before being placed in the back of a police cruiser.

Veteran’s activist Darrell Hampton has been a thorn in the side of Dayton VAMC management long before this investigation began, and he has worked closely with investigative reporters at the Dayton Daily News.

In our last report, VT was not able to identify the Dayton VA Dentist involved, but the latest update from the Dayton Daily News now reveals who that dentist is Dr. Dwight M. Pemberton .

If any of our readers know any Veteran or family member who has used the Dayton VAMC over the past decade and had Dr. Pemberton as their dentist, please ensure they contact the VA for a simple blood test to see if they were exposed to Hepatitis, or HIV/AIDs, even if the Dayton VAMC does not contact you. If need be and folks are able, have the blood test screening done by a private physician off VA campus. If anyone is a military retiree who uses the Dayton VAMC have the screening done at the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center Laboratory. Folks will have to let their PCM know they may have been exposed to Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or HIV and where.
