‘Local sources say at least 10 civilians have lost their lives when the US-led coalition purportedly fighting Daesh in Syria carried out an airstrike against a militant-held area in the country’s northern province of Aleppo.

The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the aerial attack targeted the town of Maskanah, located 100 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital city of Aleppo, on Sunday, Arabic-language Qasioun Agency news outlet reported.

The report said ten people were killed and several others injured in the air raid.

The Britain-based so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also reported that US-led military aircraft had launched a series of attacks against the villages of Qabtan al-Jabal, Kafr Hamrah and Yaqid al-Adas in the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo.’

With the city of Aleppo now fully liberated, it is important for the alternative media to catch these lies and the Western media’s retrospective admissions to telling them, in order to maintain momentum in favor of the Syrian people as they attempt to restore security and order across their nation. “

A worthwhile learning experience.

As the U.S.-backed offensive in Mosul, Iraq, begins, the mainstream U.S. media readies the American people to blame the terrorists for civilian casualties but the opposite rules apply to Syria’s Aleppo.

‘Throughout the two and a half months that have passed since the start of the Cessation of Hostilities (CoH), the State Department has refused to acknowledge that the US backed rebel factions are fighting in Aleppo and elsewhere alongside Jabhat al-Nusra, Al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria.

There has not been a single press briefing where the spokesman has not accused Russia and Syria of targeting US backed rebel factions and civilians.

Whether it’s John Kirby or Mark Toner, the spokesman keeps talking about intermingling between the “moderates” and the Al-Qaeda affiliate and that the Russians/Syrians need to be able to separate the two. At the the press briefing of April 25, 2016 Mr Kirby said:’

‘In a military victory that may very well rival the liberation of Qusayr in terms of significance, on February 17, the SAA officially encircled the entirety of Syria’s largest city Aleppo. In so doing, the SAA was also able to seal off the road leading into the city from the North which has been used as a supply route for the terrorist death squads receiving reinforcements and supplies from Turkey since the beginning of the crisis.

While not controlled by the Western-backed terrorist forces entirely, large portions of Aleppo have fallen under death squad control since NATO began backing jihadists forces in earnest in 2010. The Syrian military has long sought to establish control over the entirety of the city and, over the last several months, the SAA has been fighting to do just that. Over the last few weeks, however, the SAA was able to win a number of key battles and take control over a several key villages that enabled it to position itself all the way around Aleppo.

The encirclement of Aleppo comes as the SAA has launched a new offensive against death squad forces in the south, near the occupied Golan Heights and the Syrian/Israeli border.’

Russia gives UN forensic proof ‘rebels’ used chemical weapons in Syria

10 Jul 2013 A day after Syria invited United Nations chemical weapons investigators to talks in Damascus, Russia said on Tuesday it had forensic proof that ‘rebels’ have used a “lethal” sarin compound and handed its evidence to the UN team for inquiry. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations, told reporters he submitted an analysis, ” certified by chemical weapons organizations,” in “80 pages of photographs, formulas and graphs” to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki- moon. Churkin said sarin, a colorless, odorless liquid affecting the nervous system, was in a projectile fired by the opposition into the Khan al-Asal section of Aleppo on March 19.

‘The Kronen Zeitung is Austria’s largest newspaper, with a daily readership of around three million people. Yesterday, those readers were treated to the image on the left of war-torn Aleppo, bombed out and desperate. Except, as one sharp-eyed Redditor points out, that wasn’t the scene at all. It was just another Photoshop job.’
